Public Security Section 9
The innocuously named Public Security Section 9 operates within the byzantine warrens of the borderland between the government and corporate power. Their purpose, known only to themselves, is to generate and archive all data as it happens in real time and create dystopian infostructures across the net. Public Security Section 9 denies reports that its director or any of the executive board are AIs or are otherwise controlled by unlicensed non-human intelligences.Agents of the organisation work with guttergangs, corrupt bureaucrats, global megacorps and edgewise cyborg mercenaries to facilitate their aims, and have full discretionary powers to act as they see fit, as long as there's plausible deniability.
